OUR FOUNDERS' STORY
The idea behind Castus wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born from real-life struggles with air quality. Our three founders, each coming from diverse engineering backgrounds, experienced firsthand how poor indoor air can affect health, productivity, and overall well-being.
One of our founders, a lifelong allergy sufferer, struggled with airborne pollutants that made daily life uncomfortable. No matter the season, pollen, dust, and pet dander in indoor spaces triggered constant sneezing, congestion, and fatigue. Air purifiers on the market promised relief, but most failed to provide real, lasting solutions.
Another founder, a parent with two young children, saw the rapid spread of sickness in daycare settings and how it affected the entire family. What started as a simple cold in their child’s classroom would quickly turn into weeks of illness at home, impacting work, sleep, and daily life. The experience made it clear—better air quality wasn’t just about comfort, it was about protecting health.
The third founder worked in a high-pressure corporate office, where stale, polluted air and high CO₂ levels led to frequent headaches, mental fog, and fatigue. Long workdays became even more exhausting, and productivity suffered. They began researching the effects of indoor air quality on cognitive function—and the findings were alarming. Poor air circulation was silently harming focus, energy levels, and overall workplace efficiency.
United by these experiences, the three came together with a shared vision: to create an air purification system that truly works—one that combines the best filtration technologies into a single, powerful, easy-to-use solution. Using their expertise in engineering, they designed Castus, an air purifier that goes beyond traditional HEPA filters by integrating seven advanced purification technologies for real, measurable results.
